Remondis Medison LLC is a company primarily engaged in the collection, transportation, and treatment of hazardous medical waste, as well as the collection and transportation of municipal and other types of non-hazardous waste, and the maintenance of public areas.
The company provides services to public healthcare institutions, private healthcare facilities, public enterprises, and companies from the private sector. In the field of hazardous medical waste management, the company has established a highly efficient network for the collection of medical waste from both the public and private healthcare sectors across the country.

Remondis Medison LLC, as part of the multinational company Remondis headquartered in Lünen, Germany, began operations in the Republic of North Macedonia on July 1st, 2019.
For the treatment of medical waste, the company uses autoclave and steam sterilization technology, which is a standard method across many European countries. In Slovenia, medical waste is treated in identical facilities, while in Germany, as much as 60% of hazardous medical waste is processed using this technology. This method eliminates harmful effects on both the environment and human health.
Medical waste is mechanically processed and sterilized under strictly controlled conditions. After treatment, it is disposed of as non-hazardous autoclaved medical waste. The collected medical waste is transported using vehicles specifically designed for the transport of hazardous medical waste.

Our permit for the collection and transportation of non-hazardous waste, issued by the Ministry of Environment and Physical Planning of the Republic of North Macedonia, authorizes us to carry out activities related to municipal services.
Municipal services are carried out using modern specialized vehicles for the collection and transportation of municipal waste from the private sector. The collected waste is then disposed of at authorized landfills within the Republic of North Macedonia.
The cleaning and maintenance of public areas includes sweeping, grass mowing, collection of non-hazardous waste, transportation and supply of technical water, septic tank cleaning, and washing of public surfaces using a water tanker.
